ABOUT DENA
Dena has taught workshops as far away as China! She’s one of the most sought after acting coaches in NYC. Students star in the new Hunger Games, Barbie and academy award nominated films Maestro, and The Holdovers. Even more on Broadway including: Aladdin, Wicked, The Lion King, Harry Potter and The Cursed Child, AND...she just shot a movie with Fiona Shaw (Aunt Petunia from the Harry Potter movies!) A Producer, Director, and Actor, she graduated with honors from The University of Rochester with a BS in Neuroscience and a minor in Dramatic Arts. She’s a Lifetime Member of The Actors Studio and for over 20 years she’s studied the craft of acting with her teachers,
Ellen Burstyn & Al Pacino.
Her first TV job was a 5 scene Guest Star with top of show billing and she didn’t have an agent and wasn’t a member of SAG-AFTRA. She teaches beginning level to more experienced artists helping countless students transition into working actors. She loves teaching how to breathe truth and spontaneity into any scene and how to up-level the actor’s mindset encouraging them to believe everything is possible!

Dena will coach, be your reader. She can also help you with your lighting, sound, and your self tape setup so you can deliver the most professional tape possible.
